Connections from afar
Last year I was added as a writer into the medium publication RESONATES by Morris T after reaching out to me when I was challenging myself to write every day for 30 days in November, and he had come across my writing.
I became a Medium member in January last year, but last year I just wrote sporadically and not really investing my time here on Medium. Therefore I lost about $25 last year in earnings than what I was paying in medium membership.
I was thrilled to be invited and accepted into his medium publication. So I tested myself in November last year to write every day for 30 days and was successful.
I didn’t write anything in December and therefore gave myself that month to recharge and get ready for the new year.
As 2020 was coming to a close in its last few days, I decided to write every day this year. I would take it week by week and month by month to track my progress.
Therefore I completed January of 31 days, February of 28 days, and I’m now up to day 20 of March. Only towards the end of February to this month have I finally gained curation!
This year, my work output is more, and therefore, so is my earnings, and my writer's muscle has really improved.
