It’s May 3rd 2020 in Sydney Australia and I’ve turned 42 years old today.

I entered this year being a new year and new decade with experience from my previous job and was excited where I wasn’t starting from scratch, I was starting from experience.

I polished my resume and set a plan for this year….

Then words like social distancing and isolation took over robbing everyone of their freedom and usual lives. Because of a deadly virus that had broken out around the world.

Suddenly shoppers were panic buying and stripping shelves and for strangely whatever reason….stockpiling on toilet paper even though this virus attacks the respiratory system

It’s been five weeks since Australia was put into lockdown and borders were shut along with businesses and putting many thousands out of work.

The first week or two I didn’t mind the novelty of staying in pyjamas all day unless I absolutely needed to go out for nothing more allowed than an essential service.

I live on my own so I’m so grateful for the internet and social media..

To be honest with you I don’t know how we could get through this without it.
